Born in West Africa, Liberia, I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I moved to Philadelphia, PA to explore my options in the Healthcare Industry. I have worked at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for over 14 years. I have experience with both Progressive Care PICU, as well as The Pediatric Pulmonary Unit which ranged from 24 patients per shift. With over 20 distinguished POPPY Awards my accomplishments have been accrued but not limited to Employee of the Month as well as Team Leader within my departmental range. My ability to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment has earned the respect of my peers and subordinates alike. Known for my hands on approach within the unit I exemplify leadership, often seen on the floor actively engaging with staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
